Voices of Christ Literary Ministries
will be offering the following sessions during the
2007 Christian Prophetic Writer's Retreat: The Season of the
Scribe. Participants will not have to choose which workshops to
attend because all sessions will be held back-to-back to
maximize the retreat experience. This is an intimate retreat in
which the Holy Spirit will have the freedom to move and
participants will actively interact with presenters through
writing exercises, out of class assignments, and other
fun-filled activities. Topics covered will include:
+The Purpose of the Gift: This workshop is presented in two parts, and will walk
participants through the bible concerning the purpose of gifts
in the body of Christ. At the close of this session,
participants will be able to determine whether they are
operating in ministry out of a gift or a talent/skill.

+Understanding the Ministry of the Prophetic "Creative" Writer:
Through intense biblical study, creative writers will
examine the role of writing and writers throughout the
scriptures. In particular, they will explore the present day -
prophetic call to write - and embrace what it truly means to
walk under the "Scribal Anointing."

+Prophesy! A Word in Season:
This action packed, fun-filled, interactive course will
propel writers into a deeper realm of prophetic writing. Here
they will learn what it really means to walk fully in the gift
of prophesy through their literary ministry.

Learn what it takes to successfully break into the
publishing industry - particularly Greeting Cards. Drawing on
experience gained from a successful publishing company,
Christian author, entrepreneur and poet -

Abandoning the techniques embraced in the secular
world, discover the spiritual root of writer's block in the
lives of born again believers and learn how to release the
prophetic, creative flow of words through basic biblical
techniques.

self-publishing versus traditional publishing in this workshop
designed to give prophetic writers the basic information they
need to write, publish and market their literary work. Genre
specific statistics will be provided to give writers a realistic
view of writing categories and subjects that are in demand.
Also, expenses and content guidelines related to book publishing
will be covered. This workshop will primarily focus on the
benefits of self-publishing.
