HAVE YOU BECOME THE POEM? PART Ii

When we become the poem that the "LORD" gives us, we become beacons of light before men. We radiate the word of the Lord - not just in lip service - but in our very lives. We live what we write; and what we write reflects how we live.

If a poet's writing style is always filled with joy and exuberance for
the Lord, his grace and his goodness ... when I meet that poet, their
personality, speech and zeal for God should be the first thing I come in
contact with.

If a poet's writing style is always filled with how powerful God's love
is and how love covers a multitude of sins, then when I meet that poet
-- he or she should overflow with the LOVE of God.

If a poet's writing conveys the heart and mind of God concerning his
people, and offers direction, correction and warnings ... then when I
meet that poet, then his or her life should reflect one of obedience,
holiness and sanctification .... and humility before the Lord ...

We should be the VERY testimony of what we write. The words the Lord
formulates through us should reflect our character in Christ Jesus.

When you meet me, you should meet up with the SAME THERESA that you have met on these boards. You should be able to spend a day with me ... and see that what I write IS who I am.

Can people say that about you?

Pastors who write should overflow with shepherding....

Apostles should be coming forth strongly with order and protocol...

Prophets should be revealing what the Lord is saying, or things heavy on his heart...

Teachers should be clarifying instruction and breaking down unique
principles....

Evangelists should be drawing men and women to God....

And all others should be edifying and encouraging the body if they are not in a five fold office....

(Please note that who you are in the spirit can also be revealed in your writing.)

HAVE YOU BECOME THE POEM?????????? THE SHORT STORY???? THE DEVOTION???? THE NOVEL???

Every writer has an area in which they "SPECIALIZE" ... even though they may cross multiple areas of writing and subject matter in their walk with the Lord. For those scribes who have been writing for years, I
guarantee you ... that if you look back over all of the things you've penned - especially in your later years -- you will find a common theme
or a centralized message that the Lord is consistently releasing to you ...

For me, my specialty is always reminding people that, "Jesus Christ did
not come to entertain you, but to set the captives free."

Have you become the poem? Let me tell you, our God specializes .... do you know your specialty?
