Take Up Your Battle Axe and Inkhorn!

God shared this word with me today. It blessed me beyond measure. I am briefly posting part of it here to cause you to search the word and go deeper in understanding who you are. For those who took the class on the Scribal Anointing, it will come together for you. Food for thought is hidden all up in this prophetic word! Prophetess Theresa

Ezekiel 9:2-3
2 And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer's inkhorn at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar.

3 Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple. [a] And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer's inkhorn at his side; 4 and the LORD said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it."

5 To the others He said in my hearing, "Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity.

6 Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary." So they began with the elders who were before the temple.

7 Then He said to them, "Defile the temple, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!" And they went out and killed in the city.

8 So it was, that while they were killing them, I was left alone; and I fell on my face and cried out, and said, "Ah, Lord GOD! Will You destroy all the remnant of Israel in pouring out Your fury on Jerusalem?"
9 Then He said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of bloodshed, and the city full of perversity; for they say, `The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD does not see!'

10 And as for Me also, My eye will neither spare, nor will I have pity, but I will recompense their deeds on their own head."

11 Just then, the man clothed with linen, who had the inkhorn at his side, reported back and said, "I have done as You commanded me."

There are many believers walking under the scribal anointing around you. It is YOUR job (those who have an in-depth understanding of what the scribal ministry is all about) now to do more than just share your writing with others, it's now time to activate the ministry or pull out the ministry of the scribe in the lives of others. Many, I mean many do not know who they are or why they have been called. They write and they write and they write ... yet there messages lie dormant. They hold the meditations revealed to them in their hearts and run with them in their dreams. Many never fulfill their destiny because of fear and frustration. If you have the truth and see this, now is the time to come forth. Instruct your brother or sister in Christ.

It's time now, for those who know that this is a ministry ... to pray for them, to call them forth, to water the seeds of the scribes around them whom they can touch, and to tell them about the destiny that awaits them.

In this passage of scripture JUDGMENT is about to be passed! The Lord called forth six men - one was a scribe clothed in linen. LINEN fabric is PRIESTLY attire - which indicates that this scribe Ezekiel saw was living a GODLY life in service to the Lord. The scribe had a BATTLE AXE in his hand. The inkhorn indicates that he was positioned correctly for his calling and the battle axe indicated that he was prepared for war! Are you prepared for war? He had an intimate relationship with God and walked in obedience. In addition, he came with HASTE ... he came QUICKLY.

This scribe was given a SINGLE COMMAND by the LORD - not 15 different commands - just one: "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it."

Look at that! I pray you hear me sincerely in the spirit! He told the scribe to go THROUGH the city - no pit stops - through the midst of Jerusalem.... and THEN put a mark on the foreheads of men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done. We must learn what these PENS are for now.

As this vision comes to a close, we see that the scribe comes back to the Lord with a good report. He says, "I have done as You commanded me."

Can you say that you have done what has been commanded of God? Have you truly answered the call?

For those who understand who they are now ... after learning about the MINISTRY of the scribe in the bible, you are obligated to tell others that God is calling them higher heights and deeper depths in him. He is calling us to alert our fellow scribes of their call and to lead them in understanding. Can you hear the cry....?

No longer are we on milk ... so take up your battle axe and inkhorn ... and do as God has commanded!
