SCRIBAL WARNING: The Denial of the Name of Jesus

One of the greatest tactics that the enemy uses today is the "denial of
the name of Jesus." Most people, even those who profess to be
Christians, would prefer to pray or decree simply using the term "God or
Father" ... but omitting the power that comes from simply uttering the
word, "JESUS."
Scribes of the Lord are powerful. You see, we move and operate in the
realm of the "media." Our scribal warfare rests in combating this
particular realm in the principalities of the air. We address the
optical through literacy, the vocal through speech, the perceived
through sound and the physical through the recording of records and
documents. If the SOUND of the scribe of the Lord can be silenced, then
the voice that has preserved the ministry and the historical record of
the gospel -- particularly as we continue to write the book of ACTS - is
lost in translation.
But guess what? In efforts to "fit in" and to "appease man" many scribes
called by the Lord have watered down his word, and removed the NAME of
Jesus Christ from their poems. They've SOLD OUT Christ -- for the
approval of man. They've released their BIRTHRIGHT to the kingdom of
darkness. A SPIRITUAL transference has taken place ... that has shifted
them into Sons of Hell, as discussed in the New Testament.
You see, denying Christ isn't always a VERBAL stand. You can deny him
simply by not "acknowledging" him. You can deny Christ by being silent
in a situation or circumstance in which you know the Lord is prompting
you to speak on his behalf. You can deny Christ in your actions --
simply by not associating and hanging around people who you KNOW HATE
HIM or who COMPROMISE HIM.
You see, by denying JESUS CHRIST ... a person is denying the POWER OF
THE LORD. When people pray and they DO NOT pray in the NAME OF JESUS ...
then their prayers go unheard. Their words are no more than dissipating
smoke being released in the atmosphere. It's not an offering, it's not
a sacrifice ... its just loose words that will have to be given an
account of one day.
It grieves me to go to poetry venues or book groups and meet poets whom
I've raised up or have fellowship with, and to see the compromise. I
popped in on a hosted open mic one time of a young man whom I'd raised
as a scribe in the Lord. He didn't know I was there. I sat through the
entire event ... and never heard the name Jesus. He saw me, and we
talked about it later. God convicted him on this issue. Sometimes, even
those who are called, find themselves focused on getting PEOPLE to come
to their events ... verses making sure that the events are SATURATED
with CHRIST so that those who come might be saved or receive something
that they need from the Lord. I understood where he was. I was at that
point once myself -- until God ARRESTED MY HEART. He showed me clearly
that I was DENYING his son.
You see, the foundation scripture for Voices of Christ was and will
always be Matthew 28:18-20. There are many reasons why. Each year the
Lord reveals more and more of this to me. In this year, he said, "My
prophet, when you go out and when you send others out before you ...
tell them that they go in the name of THE FATHER, THE SON & THE HOLY
SPIRIT. Tell them that they do not go out of their own accord."
Oh how have we forgotten that. So many preach the gospel. But they only
go under one "mantle" that seems comfortable for them. So we have to
listen closely, and discern by the Spirit of the Lord that they are
going and coming under the mandate of Matthew 28:18-20 OR whether they
are coming based on man's doctrine or under an aversion to Christ. The
scriptures tell us that if you deny Christ or are ashamed of Christ, he
will also be ashamed of you.
You cannot enter a place of ministry WITHOUT JESUS. He NEVER said go in
the name of GOD ONLY! He presented us with a FULL & COMPLETE ANOINTING!
God gave us Jesus and Jesus released to us the Holy Spirit. We must
embrace the FULL mantle of God. When we embrace this FULL MANTLE, then
we can walk in the POWER OF THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.
Embracing this mantle simply means that you BELIEVE on Jesus Christ. You
believe the words he spoke. I ask you today, "Have you denied him?" Many
have, and it's time to repent...
We CANNOT WALK in this new time in which we live without the
manifestation of his POWER in our lives. Prophetess Theresa Johnson

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should
go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you
ask the Father in My name He may give you.

"And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you,
whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

"Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other name
under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Ephesians 5:20
"Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in The Name
of our LORD Jesus Christ."
Philippians 2:10,11
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven,
and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue
should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the
Father."
