PROPHETIC WORD:
Stop Being Lazy! Submitted by Eric Owens, December 2, 2006

The ministry of the Lord's prophetic writers is under attack. Satan wants us to write for just any reason, or maybe it's some leisure hobby that you do. I just want to say that the Lord wants us to take this calling and this election so serious. God can and He will speak through a willing vessel. He wants us to put our selves in the same position of the men who wrote the moving of the Holy Spirit down upon paper called the Holy Scriptures.

Yes, the Word of God was PENNED by the hands of men, but prophecy never comes by the will of men, it comes by the will of God.

Let the will of the Lord begin to flow through your journaling and your writings. God wants men and women who will not write for themselves, but will see this as a ministry and a lifestyle before His throne. God needs an Isaiah to pen the prophecies of the future that must come to pass. God needs a Daniel to speak through the language of dreams and to compile together a Book that will speak in
seasons to come.

God needs men and women who are not LAZY and will write and Meditate upon His Word when we are called. God doesn't need people who are afraid to fall or to fail. This is what God has called you to, and He will provide the grace that is necessary to fulfill the call upon your life.

It is time for you to write for the generations to come like the Prophet Zechariah, the Apostle John, (there are really endless Biblical examples of faithful men who died for the Writings of the Holy Spirit that was given to them to be faithful stewards over).

The book of Jeremiah is highly poetic...but it is also the MEMOIRS of a Prophet of God. There is a time coming when the Lord will raise up others to do what He has told you to do if you will not Go.

Can The Lord Jesus trust you with the ministry of the Scribe, and will you go if He Sends you?
