Rain of God
By Teresa Robbins
Hazelwood, North Carolina

Joel 2:23

1 Kings 18:41

Do you hear the rumbling in the heavens,

and do you sense the thunderous refrain?

Do you feel the Wind of the Spirit,

and do you catch the smell of rain?

Mighty in it's gathering power,

poised to soak the sin-parched fields;

Ready to pour out in abundance

on those who are mine, and are willing to yield.

Glorious is the refreshing fragrance,

blowing on those who are Holy-thrilled;

Softening all for end-time harvest,

Listen – hear the rapturous peals.

For I am He who guards the storehouse,

and I Am He who holds the key;

Ask Me now to turn the deadbolt -

just pray to Me, and you will see;

Clouds appearing on the horizon,

fairly bursting – glory-filled;

Ready now to release their bounty -

robbing hell for Heaven's yield..

Today the thunderstorm is growing,

gathering strength as My body prays;

Get on your knees and cry to Heaven,

that these will prove to be the days;

Of glorious showers of Spirit-power,

steadily falling, producing grain;

And dare to walk the way of Elijah -

For these are the days of the latter rain!
