(1 Samuel 4)
Will you return and seek Me out,
and will you refrain from turning aside?
And mourn and rend your garments there ~
so My Spirit may abide?
And will you build a monument
of glory ~ to My name;
And destroy the gods of Ashdod, and those ~
who seek to steal My fame?
Tearing down each lofty place,
declaring end from beginning;
I say ~ "Where are those to stand in the gap,
who will mourn the peoples' sinning?"
For I Am the breach Repairer,
and My presence destroys all sin;
But every street must be repaired ~
that My Spirit may be welcomed in.
So will you raise up the desolate generations,
by the power of My Spirit there?
And reclaim the wasted places, and then ~
I will separate wheat from tare.
And will you come out from among them,
and mount the walls of the city ~ fortified?
And sound the alarm, and declare a fast,
and turn not to either side.
But be singled-eyed and gather in
the repairers of the breach ~
Declare in Zion and all the nations ~
you must blow the trumpet ~ and preach!
That the ark of My presence is returning ~
and the day is within reach!
So sound the alarm, and declare the day ~
and weep and bow down low;
I say "Will you, will you, will you return?
Will you return, and rebuild Shiloh?"
