You can do it yourself with these short instructions provided by Voices of Christ. (Please note, this process will not produce a high, studio quality file, but it will provide you with an economic way to share your work with others on CD, DVD and via the world-wide web.) ************** WHAT YOU NEED: ************** ***A Quiet environment ***A Home Computer (WindowsXP) ***Speakers ***A Microphone ($8 or so. Can purchase from Walmart, Office Depot, Best Buy, etc.) ***Audio Recording Software (Available FREE on your PC. Go to your Start Menu, Accessories, Entertainment, and then click Sound Recorder.) *FOR THE MORE ADVANCED USER: Download the free audio recorder and editor, Audacity, at http://audacity.sourceforge.net. To convert files to MP3 files you will also need to download the LAME MP3 Encoder. This plugin will allow you to convert the file you recorded to an .mp3. It is located here: http://www.free-codecs.com/Lame_Encoder_download.htm. With this program, you can mix and add music and other audio files. This software works very well!) *************** HOW TO DO IT: *************** Step 1: Make sure your speakers are working Step 2: Download & Install the free audio software AUDACITY OR open the FREE SOUND RECORDER on your PC Step 3.
