GA CHAPTER HOSTS FREE CRITIQUING WORKSHOP FEB. 2, 2008
The Georgia Chapter of Voices of Christ is hosting a free, one-day
intensive workshop entitled, Spiritually Critiquing Literary Works,
on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 from 9:30am to 4pm. This workshop is open to
all Christian writers who are interested in learning how to critique
their work the God intended through a fun-filled, activity packed full
day session.
VOC President Prophetess Theresa Johnson and VOC National Director
Nicole C. Henderson will facilitate this workshop. Participants must
register in advance. They should also bring at least three TYPED
different samples of their creative writing for critique purposes.
Samples can include poetry, spoken word, play excerpts, novel
treatments, devotions, short dramatic sermons, short stories or other
creative works.
The workshop will be held in Metro Atlanta at a local area library.
(Specific location pending.) Space is limited due to the room size. So

7-WEEK WRITING COURSE: Writing Your Memoirs
March 15-April 26, 2008
WRITING YOUR MEMOIRS: From Conception to Print: Everyone has
story tucked away on the inside of them. It's not always easy, however,
to pull the pages out into a format for you, your loved ones or others
to share. This class is geared toward unlocking the stories on the
inside of you and bringing them to life! At the end of the course, you
will have a completed manuscript.
The last session, however, is geared toward assisting you with
formatting your manuscript and getting it published! So, let's start the
year off right and help make your scribal dreams of publishing your
memoirs a reality!
Voices of Christ is hosting this intimate, interactive 7-week, intensive
course on Saturdays beginning March 15 and ending on April 26, 2008 at the
Microtel Inn & Suites at Eagles Landing in Stockbridge, Georgia.
This class will be facilitated by Dawn Alli, M.A.C (Master of Arts in
Communications), who has taught on Writing Your Memoirs in
college and university settings for over 15 years across the North East.
On Saturday, April 26 Author and Publishing Guru Valerie Coleman, MBA
and founder of Pen
Of the WritER or POWER of Ohio, will present intensive workshops on
moving your project from paper to print.
Registration is $199 for Non-VOC members, $169 for Paid VOC Members and

2007 Journaling For Joy Project™
Voices of Christ Literary Ministries International (VOC), formerly the
Voices of Christ Prophetic Poetry Team, is pleased to announce its 2007
Journaling For Joy™ holiday outreach project. Through this literacy
initiative, we are providing 150 distinct, hardbound, personalized
executive journals to at-risk teens, young adults and women in battered
women’s shelters or transitional housing
