WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS

Voices of Christ believes that God's plan for man's growth (naturally and spiritually) is rooted in strong mentorship and training -- better known in the scriptures as "equipping the saints." The very last message Jesus Christ left with us according to Matthew 28:18-20 was 1. To go, 2. To Make Disciples, 3. To baptize them, and 4. To teach them to obey all that He had commanded. As a result, VOC offers a number of workshops and classes for passionate prophetic writers. In 2008, the Lord laid it upon our hearts to offer these classes to you "FREE" through our unique "One Day Intensive" class sessions.

ONE-DAY INTENSIVES OR TWO DAY INTENSIVES:
These highly charged, fast-aced classes address one or two key subjects covered in, "The Scribal Anointing," training and demonstration manual. They include multiple prophetic activations and hands-on prophetic activities and exercises for participants. Those participating are encouraged to bring plenty of water and a bag-lunch, as there are no scheduled breaks during the day.

Classes may cover the following topics:

+Your Scribal Identity: The identity of so many Christian writers today are rooted in the world -- not the scriptures. In this class, scribes walk through God's word to unveil a hidden parable in the scriptures that reveal who they are and why God has called them to write under a "scribal anointing" in such a time as this.

+Prophesy! A Written Word in Season: This action packed, fun-filled, interactive course will propel writers into a deeper realm of prophetic "creative" writing. Here they will learn what it really means to walk fully in the gift of scribal prophesy. They will no longer wait on the anointing to write to fall upon them, but learn to activate it in their lives simply by tapping into the Spirit of the Lord on the inside of them.

+Overcoming Writer's Block God's Way: Abandoning the techniques embraced in the secular world, discover the spiritual root of writer's block in the lives of born again believers and learn how to release the prophetic, creative flow of words through basic biblical techniques.

+Speak Life: Uncover the healing, correcting, instructional and DESTRUCTIVE power of words while gaining an in-depth understanding on the need to be filled with the Spirit of God. Presenter: Minister C. Nichole Henderson

+Literary Evangelism: Moving Beyond Books & Open Mics! Walk with Voices of Christ as team members and retreat participants explain through demonstration, technique and discussion what it REALLY means to evangelize using the creative word of the Lord.

+Pure Literary Ministry: Are you walking in a pure undefiled ministry? Discover four religion breakers and tradition stoppers that can interrupt or even destroy the ministry God has placed in your heart. Commonly called the three cancers and the big "E" -- prepare for a life change during this unique, God-centered workshop. You will walk away not only as a minister seeking to please the father; but as a mentor ready to lead other scribes down a path toward Christ.

+Spiritually Critiquing Literary Works! Forget everything you learned about critiquing in the world. Learn how to critique God's way and open the door to ministry. A highly interactive writer's segment. Presenter: Prophetess Theresa Harvard Johnson

+Seven Pitfalls That Will Destroy Your Scribal Ministry: In another unique VOC class, participants will clearly identify and confront the seven pitfalls that have plagued prophetic writers for generations. They will learn what it takes to tear down these strongholds in their lives, and walk into a place of uncompromising ministry.

HOSTING A CLASS IN YOUR AREA

We would be honored to host a "One or Two-Day Intensive" in your area. Our requirements are as follows:

1. Administration: Complete the "School of the Scribe One/Two Day
    Intensive Host Packet." (You may request it by sending and email to
    the National Headquarters at information(AT)voicesofchrist.org.)

2. In-State Travel: We will drive to most locations in Georgia. We
    request hosts to cover travel expenses, meals and over night
    accommodations for Prophetess Johnson and one assistant.

3. Out-of-State Travel: We request that hosts cover airfare, airport
    pickup and return, meals and overnight accommodations for all out
    of state engagements.

4. Payment: We do not require payment or charge for ministry. We
    do, however, request an honorarium or seed into the ministry.
